Gently Radiant Skin was founded by Uche Mobayode out of a frustration familiar to many families. Juggling individual skincare needs can feel chaotic, especially when you add little ones to the mix. Even before welcoming their two sons, Uche and her husband faced separate skincare routines – her husband battling dryness, and her navigating sensitivities which grew worse during pregnancy and postpartum. Things became even more complex with children. Their first son inherited his father's dry skin, while their second's eczema presented a whole new challenge. While prescribed creams offered some relief, Uche longed for a natural, long-term solution that wouldn't irritate anyone's skin

This quest for gentle, effective products became a family affair. It wasn't just about finding something that worked for everyone in the family; a streamlined approach was crucial for Uche's sanity (and maybe a little less bathroom counter clutter!). Uche's conversation with her mom then sparked a memory – a soothing shea butter therapy from her childhood, passed down through generations. Inspired by this age-old remedy, Uche set out to create a simple skincare line using shea butter and other powerful natural ingredients. This collection, now known as Gently Radiant Skin, is suitable for everyone, including busy individuals and families struggling with the chaos of multiple products, different skin types, and the everyday demands of life.
